Well said. A couple of years ago I posted something about asteroids, and how that by itself invalidated the concept of a paradise earth. After all, Adam's sin only affected the earth, but not the universe. There is no reason for the galaxies and stars and other planets and asteroids to have been impacted whatsoever by Adam's sin. Therefore the universe (apart from the earth) must be operating the way God created it originally. Which means that the asteroids that have been bombarding earth for billions of years will continue to do so in the future (if you posit that God will "stop" this process in the future, then why create it that way in the first place?).
After posting this reasoning, that either God's design itself was flawed, or there can never be such a thing as a paradise earth, most of the responses I got ignored the argument and implied I had gone insane.
Welcome to my insanity! :-)
