I don't know about 'forever', but it seems that we just might be able to live a lot longer than 120 years 'real soon now.'
I've had great enjoyment over the last few months reading what Robert Anton Wilson has to say on the subject of aging (Prometheus Rising, Cosmic Triger I, II, III etc.) and imagining what it would be like if just some of the promising research he outlines pans out...
Since he imagines advances in aging in parallel with increased space exploration, meteors and viruses effecting Earth might only be 'local' problems in the future...
