I'm not saying it would be less beautiful or that its life would be less precious. What I am saying is that you must look beyond emotion and rely on a little logic. Emotion and logic seem to be opposing items.
Does Jehovah like suffering? When a child is created, and it doesn't form right, what do you do? Now, I mean beyond simple cosmetics, it's much deeper than that. But a baby that the doctors can tell will be born a vegetable, or born with a disease that the parents simply could never afford to help with, to make the child's life more enjoyable. The situations I'm thinking of simply aren't coming to mind right now, but I hope you understand my point a little clearer.
Do I think it is right for some girl to walk into a clinic and have an abortion just because it is an inconvenience for her, or because she feels she will get in trouble with her parents? No.
Do I think that the option should be DISCUSSED for abortion in the case BOTH mother and child's life could be put at serious risk? Or the child will not be able to live even a semi enjoyable life beyond any stretch of the imagination due to a crippling disease, or a heart that simply won't form right, or a lung, or severe defects in the brain before it's even born? I think then the discussion should be brought up and discussed VERY thoroughly. Nothing hasty, or anything like that. Every OTHER possible alternative discussed as well. And then if everyone involved feels it's best, if the circumstances seem to warrant an exception to the rule, then YES, I do agree.
My honest opinions.
