You have heard incorrect definitons of the second law. The second law applies to heat transfer. It has never been observed to have been violated. The second law does not say that disorder always increases or some other equivalent statement. It is not violated by pollution in a lake, or even Picasso painting a picture.
But the second law works very well indeed for heat transfer. And one of the consequences of the second law, is that if we wait long enough there won't be enough free energy in the universe to support life. And there is no possible way to stop it. Every action you take only increases entropy.
