I think if that law was going to take place, it would have already. For instance when we pollute a lake, or the ground, if we leave it alone, it repairs itself in time. The opposite seems to be true.
This would go against the second law of thermodynamics, doesn't it? That would also apply to kaos in the universe as well. It has been very stable for a long time without a glitch, this seems to defy that law as well.
