Just a few years ago the Society was saying things like, 'before the end of the century' indicating and end of the millenium Armageddon. But as I recall, they have dropped that line too. It seems they have recently said that they do not expect anything for Y2K. I don't know about R&F JWs anymore, but I imagine there may be some speculation going on as there usually is.
