Yet you are sure of your ideas, because there is no PROOF that their Gods do exist. In other words, the burden of proof is on them to prove their Gods exist. Lacking any evidence to the contrary, you are perfectly reasonable to take the stance that Hindu Gods do not exist. Period.
So too with the atheist. He will say that when you undestand why you reject all the other Gods, then you will know why he rejects your God.
