So Cheeky,
What you confirm is that one (ie the Jehovah directed Corporation) can "logically" extrapolate anything it wants from the bible and make it into a "law", the infraction of which can result in Dfing and shunning, two other left field extrapolations. Amazing!
Nothing in my question doubted the adverse effects of smoking, but then why doesn't the GB apply the same standard to alcohol? The same standard to fat as blood? Why don't you baptize by fire since the bible says "water and by fire"?

I think you guys get into the habit of just wanting to argue a point just because it is with a Jehovah's Witness. It shows your unreasonableness with simple points like "No, we don't allow durgs" Hmmmm fairly straight forward isn't it?
So the answer to your question is "no" We as Jehovah's Witnesses recognize that smoking is a drug. Even if the bible doesn't say " don't smoke Ciggs, or do crack, and don't do needles, and don't commit internet fraud. Don't smoke dope, or do pharmacy drugs to get high.
It is fairly straight forward, but go ahead.....make some other argument out of a simple observation. Once you remove "Common Sense" from the equation I end up hearing comments like yours. You sound like a mad dog that is just biting and attacking just because!
It is not unreasonable to keep drugs out from our people. That is what we were talking about you know. Focus.
