Your thoughts are typical and understandable.

But as far as knowing for sure, those questions would seem to be answered at Armageddon.

Those persons during the time of the global flood had the same delimma. It had never rained. They had no reason to think it would ever rain except for the word of some strange prophet without scientific backing. But.... when it did rain, THEN THEY KNEW FOR SURE.

So the timing for knowing for sure is a factor, and we will all know for sure when Armageddon comes. But before Armageddon comes, there is a critical period from the time Satan is kicked out of Heaven and Armageddon actually comes. This is the period when the Messiah returns in the flesh and gathers his anointed ones, exposes the evil slave and prepares for the millennium. Jesus first appears in secret to his followers though, while the rest of the world learn of god's existence at Armageddon.

So from 1992 forward, which is the 529BCE date for the Second Coming, the "eagles" who surround the "corpse" would definitely KNOW FOR SURE that there was a god because they would know who the Messiah was and would witness miracles associated with him, but especially how he would fulfill Bible prophecy, ssome of it hidden, such as the fact that he would be the prodigal son.

So as far as evolution is concerned or whether there is a god or not, things are quite different at this stage post 1992. That's because the "eagles" have direct evidence there is a god because the Messiah has arrived just as the Bible promised and exactly WHEN and HOW the Bible prophesied he would.

So knowing whether there is a god or not is not an issue for the JIOR post 1992, and it won't be an issue for the rest of the world at Armageddon, when the evolution vs creation argument will be decisively confirmed.

There might have been a question about this before the Messiah actually arrived, but not any more. Not for some of us.

Cheers,
Bibleman
