So far class action suits have not been very successful. The first amendment says that congress can make no laws concerning religious establishments, so things have to be handled on a state level here in the US.
What I'm interested in is why they cannot be hit on an international level. While Witnesses were being raped and murdered in Malawi for not joining a political party, in Mexico Witnesses could bribe officials for cards stating they did military time. This is fraudulent by most standards. Conspiracy to commit murder is what it sounds like to me. With former Witnesses getting connected and collecting so much evidence of their fraudulent ways, there has to be some way to approach it.Even if they can be reported to the IRS for fraud, that would be something.
So many do so much investigating, it has to be good for something.
