"As far as Jesus disclaiming being "GOOD" perhaps as an angel who is capable of SIN (like Satan), he didn't consider himself to be perfectly good.... He's like his human servants. He's imperfect like them.... It's brilliant."
OR... -- to restate things from a SCRIPTURAL PERSPECTIVE, even in His role as the Suffering Saviour, Jesus could say: "I ALWAYS do the things pleasing to Him." (Jn.8:29)
From the 24 Elders PERSPECTIVE, they FELL DOWN & WORSHIPED JESUS & SAID "AMEN!" to the truth that BLESSING & HONOR & GLORY & MIGHT BE GIVEN TO JESUS FOREVER & EVER (including man's puny, brief history on earth).
The very approachable "Gentle Jesus meek & mild" also has eyes "as a fiery flame" (Rev.1:14). Jesus reacts very differently to people (e.g. woman caught in adultery, & the Pharisees).
Compare Jn.8:3 with the 'WOES' of Mt.23:13 & on) which is prefaced with the interesting (but contrary to human-tendency) verse: "Whoever EXALTS HIMSELF will be humbled, & whoever HUMBLES HIMSELF will be exalted."
An 'imperfect jesus' is not the JESUS OF SCRIPTURE. THE JESUS I KNOW is the ONE before Whom, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, & EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT HE IS LORD!!! (See Phillipians 2:10,11 AND Rom.14:11.)
