That is a very touching sentiment. The picture really sums up a lot. Kind of puts a damper on the old "if it hasn't gone full term it isn't a human" type of BS.
Although in a debate setting, this would be called appeal to emotion and doesn't settle whether or not abortion is right or wrong. The picture itself is an interesting piece of evidence though. The child in the picture certainly is beautiful. But what of cases where the child would not be born healthy by any stretch of the imagination, or could kill both mother and child, etc etc?
There's more questions to answer than just that one.
It's easy to say "Thou shalt not kill", but Jehovah himself ordered the killings of many. So obviously there's a clause on the end of it, situations where exceptions to the rule need to be made.
