Thanks for your quotation. I really have a hard time trying to do that. Maybe that's why I became a JW in the first place. Since I left, I've been trying to exercise more my "read-and-think-but-do-not-believe-everything" neuron, but it's not so easy. It failed me in the GB issue. Now I find this evolution/creation/a-bit-of-both discussion overwhelming for my recently acquired freedom of thought. Perhaps it's a natural process.
PS: I'm glad to hear that your boyfriend is not baptized.
