Not postulating. Reading the bible which I and a whole lot of christians feel it is the inerrant word of God. I don't understand everything-but until God tells me different He's right. If you cant find proof of postulating show it please. Do you believe in God? Do you believe in angels and a heaven? When you look up to the heavens do you see "Heaven"? Just because you cant see it doesn't mean its not there, unless to you its all myth. Eventuallly thats what those who choose to ignore the proof of Him who is the Creator expressed in the revelation of His creation, finally arrive. Is that the place your aiming for?
The dogma of Jesus' resurrection and ascension in his literal, human body infers that heaven is a literalm physical place just a bit further out.
Acts 1:9,10,11-
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."
There is no inference in this scripture that heaven is "just a little ways out". That is so simplistic. I guess if I went outside and started digging in the ground I would eventually reach China huh?
