Hi Jan,
I don't pretend to be a scientist. I do know that when it is always easier to tear something down than to build it. I have a cousin who reminds me of you. He once told me "I know all the questions, and none of the answers." Everything we say about things that happened so long ago are based on faith in something, science, God, something. Your theories are incomplete and you too have to guess at the beginning and the causes that brought all of this into play. As I have said before, the best answer I have heard is from the Bible, "Every house has its builder, the builder of all things is God" or words to that effect. Throwing a bunch of raw materials in and shaking it all up or giving it time to set will not make anything pop into existance that requires measurements and clearances; things like the inverted retina discussed on this thread. I think colors, music, all the different ways to do the same thing for different species, and most of all the combination of it all into a working package that it takes "thinking" man to threaten, all bears evidence to a higher power. If we with all of our abilities can't produce life then what makes you think it is an accident? If you see a house, it didn't just happen.
