I don't think time flows in a straight line. I do think other laws affect time. We know speed does and think black holes do. I've always felt like boredom does! Or pain. "One thing is certain, this life flies, the flower once bloomed always dies." Our bird is definitely on the wing, and the time ahead is the hard part. As Cygnus points out I guess you could always kill yourself if you got that bored. Personally I would like to have death be an option rather than a certainty! Maybe life is like some foods I have learned to eat, you have to develop a taste and then it keeps getting better and better.
I think I have developed the taste, I am ready for lots more of it and instead I am approaching the short rows. No morbid fear of it, just rather have some more.
