I may or may not have a tree this year. Not sure yet. If I don't, it'll be because I have this wild kitty who likes to attack the tree. LOL one year I put it up, but didn't decorate it, because she enjoyed attacking it.

It was FUN! Do you understand that part of it? That fun is okay?

The origin of the tree matters not to me. There are so many things with so many different origins. I go on what it means in modern times.

And I like to live in the present moment. And in the present, the meaning of the Xmas tree bears little resemblance to the origins.

So, I have better and more edifying things to do with my time than worry over that. If I do it, it is because we have fun with it. If I don't do it, it is because I'm not up to it at the moment.

I have often wondered why JW's don't live in the present moment, but go way, way back and base their decisions on things that happened so long ago it is past history. Seems morbid and unnecessary and often silly to me.
