As a med student I felt it appropriate to share what I am learning... there are going to be new blood substitutes in the very near future. We already have synthetic hormones, enzymes, and other proteins as well as most of the globulins found in blood. Testing is being done right now as I type on new products. If they were successful in creating a synthetic blood, I wonder if the WTS would change it's stand and accept the substitute... or if they would continue to protest it to avoid looking foolish?
