I wonder how many people realize that wanting billions of people dead is a serious form of neurosis. As in....... I really am a special person which comes from a person feeling that they are down trodden and in order to be special must therefore have been persecuted because God considers them important and then God is going to get even for them by killing all the people that don't accept the fact that they are important. How disgusting to wish people dead so that the selfish ones can have their pride saved. I wonder, Bibleman, can pride be worth 6 billion people's lives? Could any morally clean God really want to exonerate his people by killing so many that in reality have done nothing to his "chosen ones?" How often, Gary, do people imagine mis-treatment or cause the reasons for being mis-treated so that they can imagine that they are different and more important because no one has ever considered them to have any real value. Often times children who are run down and belittled by their parents will over compensate and actually begin to think of themselves as MORE important than other people. They begin a process of tuning out anything that contradicts their view of themselves and begin weaving elaborate daydreams of how it will be proven to everyone that they really are the greatest. But somehow their personal salvation never comes. They never sit in that sedan chair and never exult over countless dead bodies. How greatful I am for that.
