Generation:
This has been commented on in other posts.
Adding further thought on the subject of generation may be of benefit.
Ecclesiastes 1:4 states: "A generation is going and a generation is coming;" Along with this verse five says "And the sun also has flashed forth, and the sun has set," verse 6 says The wind is going to the south, and it is circling around to the north. Round and round" verse 7 continues with cycles of the "winter torrents" Full circle in each case. A set time period that Jehovah with wisdom has set in place. The term "generation" is among these other counts of time. What is full circle of a generation???
Generation has a fixed limit of time. It is not a rubber band as the WT may imply. A generation has its own cycle and a deeper understanding is necessary for us to see and understand Jehovah's time tables.
Bibleman has pointed out the 14 generations to Jesus. The 14 animals to start a new generation of clean animals after the flood of Noah's day. New thought? Yes. Can we talk about it? Maybe not in the
Kingdom Hall but here we could open the discussion.

Jesus could have been saying much more when he said "this generation will not pass away until ...."
Counting? Psalms 48:12, 13 "March around Zion, you people and go about it, Count its towers". 13, "Set your hearts upon its ramparts, Inspect its dwelling towers, In order that you may recount it to the future generation."
