My son has always been grateful that we do not celebrate Christmas. He gets to go to Toys-R-Us anytime in the year to obtain whatever he wants.
I don't understand the connection between those two sentences. Do you believe that worldly kids are only allowed to go to the toy store for Christmas? How else could your son be "grateful" not to celebrate Christmas? He must think he is getting something that worldy kids are missing out on.
Can you clarify please?
