That's a good way to describe Judge Rutherford John as a sill old man. And, when you dig into the societies history you will find that that "Silly Old Man" was guilty of the same things he condemned the churches for. He predicted the end in 1925 and even had a mansion in California called Beth Sarim prepared for the "Ancient Worthies of Old" to occupy when they were to be resurrected in 1925. He was silly enough, but you have to wonder about his followers as well.
