Beaver, you are correct!

I might go a step further and point out that there are other religions that don't believe the trinity, hell fire, etc. The one thing the WTS had that set it apart from other religions, that made it distinct, that set it "above" any other religion, was the prophecies about 1914, and other dates (that ALL turned out to obviously be incorrect.)

That failed. What is left? Just another religion, maybe worse than most in that it tried to guess the times of the end. Jesus said that no one would know the time. The WTS always got around that by claiming NOT to know the time, but then they'd give us years.

They were wrong. So, nearly any bible based religion that you agree with the basics is better than the WTS.

Someone somewhere pointed out that there aren't support groups for people who leave many other religions. But there are support groups for ex-cult members. I'd put the WTS in a class with cultism.

So, if anyone wants to be a volunteer bookseller for an organization that is usually wrong in its predictions, hey, have at it. It shouldn't even be making predictions, for crying out loud!

Sometimes when I hear JW's speak, and sometimes when I think about the things I said years ago, I get profoundly embarrassed.

But I keep coming back. I used to think I needed to heal. But I'm happy in my life. I want to be here for others who may be questioning and wanting to move on with a real life in a real world. I want them to know that there can be and is real joy in life after the WTS.
