Your open mindedness is to be commended. While I disagree with you and think that they are similar in that both involved getting a gov't card needed to live a normal life in their country. The main difference I see is that one could be bought aboveboard without military service,the other had to be purchased under false pretences to dodge "Marching" with bribes. If Franz's documents are accurate the brothers in Mexico thought the situations were similar also. At least yours is an informed opinion. Thanks for your response.
