I haven't been one of Jehovah's Witnesses for very long (less than 5 years) so I don't know a lot of the history back when the anointed were chosen as the faithful slave and I didn't know how to answer this in the field service:
Did we use to teach that Michael in Rev.12:7 was the Pope and his angels are the Catholic bishops? And was this at the same time of Jehovah's inspection?
My reaction was "That's crazy!" but the sister with me said, "We don't use those old publications any more," and that made me think maybe we did teach it.
Does anyone know for sure?
