I must say that you are a perfect example of the scientific illiteracy of the overly religious Mr Bibleman. First of all you must understand that personal incredulity is not a logical or even effective form of argumentation. Just because you can't understand a postulate doesn't make it false.
You are obviously untutored in even the basics of the scientific method. That is not, in and of itself, a bad thing. But when you then attempt to expound on science as if you understood it, you come off as nothing more than a bafoon. But then perhaps that is your intent. A little comic relief? You gave me quite a little chuckle over: "TIME is an abstract concept and has nothing to do with the speed of light." My dear Bibleboy, the concept of SPEED is contengent upon the concept of TIME. Just think for a moment. We express speed as a ratio of distance over TIME. For example Miles/HOUR; Feet/SECOND and so on.
Your ignorance of science and the scientific method has caused you to accept implauseable and impossable hypothosis as acceptable theorys without any intervening experimentation or proof. For example: "Did you know that since we don't know precisely what was going on with the water canopy that no one can specifically claim anything about it?" What water canopy? Where is the evidence for such an unsupported and untenable fantacy? A book that says the sun can stand still in the sky for a day? That burning bushes talk to runaway slaves? That humans used to live for 900+ years? But then I suppose that your statement: "Miller's theory ....contradicts the Bible's stated facts about this." shows that you are willing to accept everything the Bible says as a priory proof, regaurdless of any other evidence presented to you. I suppose that if you wish to suspened the laws of physics you can accept anything. But that is the exact opposite of science. Scientific thinking and the litteral interpretation of the Bible cannot co-exist within the same mind. They too are mutually exclusive. One DEPENDS on physical laws. The other SUSPENDS physical laws.
