This whole area of investigation is fascinating stuff that I wish I had the time to explore more fully. My suspicion is that Christians may well have to eventually come to grips with the fact that account of Adam and Eve is a parable and that
God used evolution or a combination of direct creation and evolution. A number of Christian faiths, in fact, have already acknowledged as much but the more fundamental groups still strongly oppose any such notion.
