Excellent reference. It shows a number of things: Central authority ("governing body") that was acknowledged as such and accepted as such; organized, congregational worship directed from a local source; beneficial results from such an arrangement (vs. 5): "THEREFORE, indeed, the congregations continued to be made firm in the faith and to increase in number from day to day."

Those who don't see ORGANIZATION and authority derived from it, in early Christian worship aren't looking very hard.
