Basically I reckon there is a third class - and they are the ones who left quietly and have been forgotten (they slipped thru the net). For some reason, the third class, get off lightly, and are allowed access to their families etc. Ros is one such person. The system imo is very unfair but once you carry the WT seal of disapproval e.g. d'fd or d'asst., your family undergo some kind of mental metemorphises (ok so spelling aint my strong point!) and you are history. In my case I was sitting around having a happy chat with my other brother one day and talking about what it would be like to not speak to each other any more.... and the next day we were living it for real. That was 18 yrs ago and things haven't changed. Surreal!!! I'd like to have been in the third class, as I didn't do anything different to them and I'd have liked a bit of association with my dub rellies - even if they are on another planet most of the time. :-/
