One Glove:

It is sad that a subject, "evolution vs. creation" seems to bring out the worst in people.
The nasty remarks, the put downs and insults are
really not an example of the scientific community.
What establishes credability amoung scientists is
facts, not speculation. When a highly respected
scientist announces to the world a new discovery
based on the research he or she has done, the
scientific community analizes their findings with
a find tooth comb. If the scientist is found to
have discrepancies in his research, or his research is incomplete, or he has lied in his
findings, he has committed suicide with his career. That is why any reputable scientist makes
sure he has his facts in order before he announces to the world his new discovery so he can
enjoy the admiration and hero worship he so
desperately needs.

My point is this, that I would like to discuss
the theory of evolution with you, and I have
some questions that maybe you can answer. I have
two years of physics under my belt so we can have
an interchange with some of the scientific
"goobledygoop" lingo that is used extensively by
the highly educated people on this board. But I
am limited in certain areas of studies and I will
read whatever you recomend. I do not want to get
into a nasty, hateful, debate where nothing
is accomplished except making enemies. So bare
with me and I will get back later with some
questions I have.

Respectfully
Milky
