Alan: I asked what you (or any Witness) would think if the Governing Body put Jehovah's Name on their own statement (that it was Jehovah's promise) that Jesus was going to resurrect Abraham, Isaac and Jacob within the next couple of weeks.
You answered: "That has happened before. And as before our faith in Jehovah's word did not change." And that's good because it wasn't Jehovah's word that mistakenly said what Jehovah had promised what Jesus was going to do.
Rather, it was what you refer to as "Jehovah's organization" that was mistaken. And so, why wouldn't your faith in that "organization" change?
What if the Catholic Church had originated the above 'prediction' which eventually proved not to be true? What would you think when a Catholic says, "My faith in *God's word* is not changed."
But wouldn't you think that his faith in *the Catholic Church* ought to be affected?
