Bowing down to a false idol in the form of a Christmas Tree I think is "idolatry".

I think if you want to have a nice family tradition of being together you should do that. But that can be done at any time and without borrowed false pagan doctrines.

Therefore, I suggest you thoroughly understand where the Christmas Tree tradition came from. I would suggest you thus simply do a net-search for "Christmas Tree" and after considering a few webpages on the topic, then decide if it is worth the risk of your life to be engaging in tree worship which the angels might consider to be "idolatry" when they come through to destroy the disobedient.

Wouldn't it be better to play it safe and have a family tradition that didn't involve copied pagan idolatry symbolisms? After all, it would be different if you had a year-round tradition of putting evergreens in your home to beautify a corner or to give a pine-scent, woodsie freshness to the room. Anything short of that is just an excuse to boy down to the Tree Goddess, I'm afraid.

Anyway, it's your decision....and your life.

But just realize you're playing with "fire" when you put a Christmas Tree up in your house and decorate it as a false god. That is, the LAKE OF FIRE!

But, hey, it's your call..

But just remember if you do end up getting thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE because of something simple like this...

WHO'S FAULT IS IT?

YOURRRRRRRRRRRS!

Not God's.

WHO'S TO BLAME?

Riiiiight, YOU ARE.....

NOT God.

Cheers,
