That is simply incorrect. I was somewhat concerned when I first heard the letter read so I examined it in detail as well as discussed it with the Circuit Overseer.
The fact that a couple of individuals have reported that their cases were handled differently does not negate my statment. Frankly, I find some of their comments questionable, there seems to be a lack of knowledge of procedure and terminology which is odd for elders or I guess ex-elders would be more appropriate. Of course not all elders are necessarily that knowledgeable.
