I know what you mean, only it was a bit different for me...I was going to the hall regular and had already gone through the knowledge book. I was an unbaptized publisher and started to have personal problems and got really depressed. A friend of mine from the hall told the elders and she told them to they should make a shepherding call to me to see if they could encourage me since I had stopped going to the meetings and they said, "No we dont do that for anyone that is not baptized."
Like I said a bit differnt but your story made me think of that. It kind of hurt.
