The countless hours spent sitting at the Watch Tower Corporation arranged meetings was wasted. I was told I was there to learn the truth. Virtually nothing taught at the meetings in the 1950's is considered "truth" by the Corporation writers today.
I was told I was there to associate with people who would survive Armageddon and would not be subject to death. Virtually all of the teachers of that time have died as have most of my father's and many of my generation as well.
The "Let God Be True" book turned out to be erroneous like all the Society books before it and erroneous as well has been every single book printed after it. The only book in all Watch Tower Corporation history perceived as accurate by the publishing company itself is the one currently in print. Even their Bible contained error and needed revisions.
Time in "service" was wasted as well. I was forced to leave my unfinished school work lay on the table two school nights a week and go to strangers doors in dark neighborhoods with sales presentations designed to trade (place) "non-denominational" Watch Tower printed religious literature for money, (as well as Saturday morning and in the summer, all day on Sunday). The reason was to "vindicate" Jehovah's name. Now they say Jehovah's name never needed vindicating in the first place.
One who speaks for God is God and the Watch Tower Corporation spoke for God in the name of God and when they spoke of medical treatment and we listened some of us died.
