Good point, and very true.
Unfortunately, it's the ELDERS who "determine" a person's heart, and how many MONTHS that someone has to be made to look like DIRT, having to crawl and grovel to find a scrap of human dignity, along with the nonsense the Elders feel they can "hand out" for as long as THEY please.
IT STINKS....and it has never happened to me, but I have seen the "love" many times in 30 years, and it made me SICK.
Jesus cleansed us of sin, but the Elders heap it onto the heads of many.
