Well today is a day in the U.S. where people are to give thanks for all the things in their lives that make them feel thankful.

This is the third Thanksgiving my family has celebrated since leaving the JW's. They seem to get better every year.

My kids missed several years of celebrating this holiday, because they were born while we were JW's. My daughter remembers being at school and not being able to participate in the activities involved in this and other holidays. My son has never, and will never have to go through that. Both of my children today loved the gathering of family, the association, the food, and most of all the pies!

Before we ate today each one of us said a little about what we were thankful for. My kids were thankful for their family, for God, for each other, and so on. It was very heart warming to hear them go on about all the things in their life they were thankful for. They even included their JW cousins, and my wifes brothers, and sister-in-laws. I thought that was pretty nice of them considering how we are treated by some of those people.

I am thankful for my family, the new and better relationship I have with my creator, and his son. I am thankful for all the things in my life that have lead me to the place I am now.

This includes all those who post here at H2O, and the othere boards I visit. These boards do help, and I thank each and every one who contributes, even Fred Hall. Yes sometimes old Fred has given me a laugh that helps brighten a gray day. So thanks Fred.

Ex-JW, active JW, or non-JW, you all help to make this board what it is. Thank you one and all.

Well thats about it. Have to go rest up from eating all that turkey. We deep fried it this year. It was the best turkey I have ever had.

For all of those who celebrate this day, Happy Thanksgiving, for those who don't I hope you have a great day off no matter what you do. Enjoy one and all.

From my family to yours, God Bless.
