Some days I feel I have "Deist" beliefs: That there is a creator, but that he is non-personal and has just left us to our own devices.

Other days I feel more Atheistic in my beliefs: There is no creator, no god, and that is why he never does anything about this messed up planet we live on.

::Where did the Creator come from? How should I know?::

So- If the creator is much more complicated in nature that the universe He created, then which is easier to believe:

That this universe, planet, and life here, evolved out of nothing over billions of years?

Or that the Creator (much more complex) popped up out of nothing?

It IS that annoying "Who created God?" question, isn't it? :-)

For me, it continues to be annoying and may be the one thing that pushes me into Atheism. Not that I'm going to make that choice lightly.
