Thanks Dutchy, we are all on a journey for most of our lives I guess. Nobody ever learns something and then says "ok, I know everything there is to know now, so I can stop seeking" ;-)
I didn't just accept their answers actually, I fought it all the way. I am not your typical "religious" type character. I like men, cigars, and lots of good wine, living on the edge and the fast lane, doing what ever it is that I wanted! I was happy the way I was ;-) The only reason why their argument stood any ground is because it was coming straight from the bible. They didn't change the words. It was saying the same old words I always had heard, but with a different angle. "The meek shall inherit the earth" took on a whole new light. That is the thing. If I could have backed out in my mind with clear justifications........I was there.
However; it will never stop me from questioning things as I grow and learn. I am sure that if I stay faithful to Christ and Jehovah in my heart I will fair well.
