Hey Alan!

I used to be an ardent proponent of evolution, until I read "The Fall of Evolution". I dont recall the name of the author, but I have the book at home and can look it up if you're interested. He is a well qualified scientist. He lists all the known facts of geology, geomorphology, and the fossil record. He then demonstrates how the theory of creation far more closely fits the facts than the theory of evolution. I think one can safely say that both evolution and creation are "faiths", as they are not based on empirical evidence but on the geological record. Creation, does of course have the additional support of the Bible.

One of the things he compares is the very existance of the fossil record. For example, when a fish dies, in normal circumstances, it goes "belly up" - floats to the surface and very quickly rots and/or is eaten by other creatures. How then do we have millions of fossilized fish encased in rock formed of fine silt? It ties up in a far more believeable fashion with a world-wide catastrophic flood a la Genesis, than with the theory of evolution.

Personally I believe that Evolution is the biggest hoax ever foisted upon man, unless you want to compare it to the bull that the WTBTS has got millions to believe.

truthseeker, who wants the truth at all costs, no matter how embarrassing, or how how upsetting to previously held positions.
