Thanks for the feedback, one and all. Your responses helped me prepare for my obligatory soon-to-be next visit with devout and zealous witness relatives. I'm sure this topic will come up as they're always trying to sway the prodigal to return to the fold. I'm glad I'm prepared for what's coming.
Actually a simple, "can we discuss something else?" will probably be a better reply, but I really had no clue what the devout were using as persuasive tactics these days, having been gone 16 years (yes, Scallywag.. 10 was a mistake on my part.. you do pay attention.. impressive). Unfortunately, if I had presented myself in the hypothetical manner which I should've/could've used, I wouldn't have gotten many replies from the witnesses who visit this site.
