It doesn't consume my life at all. The only place I speak of it directly is here, though I do talk to others about the subject indirectly. Just warning them against propaganda and mind control not against the Witnesses per se. As to the other religions that have caused bloodshed, yes, I know there have been no shortage of bloody handed religions. This is just one more. I know the Inca/Mexica used to offer up human sacrifices and then eat arms and legs with chili in feasts of ritual cannibalism so to me they are worse than the ones who let children die for lack of blood. However, they never cut the heart out of anyone I know and have since ceased to exist. The Jehovah's Witnesses are still here, still destroying lives and families.
What I hope you realize is that when they say you aren't in the New Covenant, they are really saying you aren't a Christian. They say your blessings will "flow" from them and be "rendered" by them, not from Jesus Christ and Jehovah. Their record does not inspire confidence. Also,they leave it all very vague when it comes to what they will do. How will they render these blessings? THEY have to have a perfect Mediator to stand before Jehovah, He makes them clean in God's eyes with his New Covenant. You aren't a "Royal Sheep" so you aren't good enough for that. Their situation is clearly laid out, yours is very foggy. My question is if you aren't under the old Covenant, the Mosaic Law, and you aren't under the New Covenant and the blood of Christ, then what are you under? How are you cleaned?
You have never yet told me who your mediator was or how you hope to achieve salvation. You don't have to give the party line, just tell me how you understand it. I am not going to try and tear it apart, I won't say a critical word about it, though I can't speak for any others who happen to read it. I would like to know your understanding of how and by whom your sins are mediated and you are made clean in the eyes of God.
