Repentant: Going to college used to be frowned upon, but never a disfellowshipping offense. It is still frowned upon unless it is for those fields related to ones advancement of Kingdom interests. As far as I can tell from the latest changes, voting has not really been openly permitted, but the way the Society is starting to permit some minor exceptions makes me believe that it may headed in that direction.
Would you be disfellowshipped if you returned now? Only if you are asked and admit to some offense which carries that level of discipline. And only if you were unrepentant.
It seems, if your question is not hypothetical, that you have much more to consider about this. ie: Why were you gone for 10 years? What would make you want to return now? Do you have any other significant reservations about other Watch Tower doctrines? Do you see other possibilities to serving God and Christ beside being in the org.?
