The letter states that if a brother dies, you
don't have to announce his deletion!
There are stories of this from all over the US,
that the Society will not accept an elder's
resignation. They must find some spiritual or
even judicial reason to remove you! You have to
be deleted for some wrongdoing, in effect.
If you fear disfellowshipping, it makes resignation risky.
They don't care about willing service in imitation
of Christ. They don't care about gratitude for
years served. They don't care about people.
They LOVE TO PUNISH !
