I skimmed over what you posted, but mostly read your summery, I actually just don't have the time to read long posts.
I know what you are saying about bashing....we do tend to do that, I don't like that much either. Even though facts are facts, we shouldn't do it. Although it should be pointed out. Human nature is a hard thing to harness. Gossip and belittling seems to be a big part of our human personalities. I know that I try not to and still fall short.
As far as the Catholics not bashing us.....well there have been some instances where they just want to ban us from the preaching work. Or use political power that they have against us. They bash, just in a different way. It isn't a good road to go down and the blame game.
