The Watchtowr is a family, a very large one. People go to great sacrifices to get themselves in good standing, meet new friends, and give up old ones. They change the way the live, what they read and their ideology. Just like being part of any family, you tend to stick up for your own, through thick and thin. This is what they are counting on, and it generally works. But more and more, people are beginning to see it as a very tacky club full of tacky people. Yet the bonds of family are really strong, and this will keep many in till the end, no matter what they change.
