I have to say that the first Watchtower of the new millenium was a surprise to me. I believe it is the first time that I have seen them publish anything in the Watchtower about Russell predicting dates by the pyramids. They also admited to spending decades being engrossed with the Great Pyramid trying to determine dates from it, from 1886 till 1928, they say. I didn't know they had ever referred to the Great Pyramid as the "Bible in Stone" or that they thought of the anointed class as the Pillar beside Egypts Boundary. In this Watchtower they also fess up to all kinds of new understandings about a everything from the generation, the parable of the sheep and the goats, the disgusting thing and when it will stand in a holy place, the temple vision of the book of Ezekiel and the new covenant. Finally after listing all these reasons to doubt them, they end with "It may be difficult at times to understand such updated explanations, but the reasons for them become clear in due course. If a Christian does not fully understand a new explanation of a scripture, he does well humbly to echo the words of the prophet Micah: "I will show a waiting attitude for the God of my salvation." Micah 7:7
So they start off pretty good, honestly admitting errors going from 1886 right down to the latest changes. Then they hit reverse, back to acting as though it is wrong to question the Society, just humbly wait (and here they go back to the blasphemy of equating themselves indirectly with God) for the God of their salvation, to get it right for a change. In other words, God(read Society) has been wrong before
and it was straightened out, and He may be wrong now, for a while but He(Society will get it right if you will just wait humbly. Who writes this stuff and do they think they are dealing with total idiots? They must. If I were a witness I would consider this insulting. Thank goodness, according to their own numbers they are making more and more enemies through intolerance and disfellowshipping. I have to say I think we "Apostates" are doing as good a job of gaining "members" without going door to door as they are with all their pioneers and printing plants. I think one well informed Apostate can counter so many robotic witnesses through our honesty. I love it. I think maybe one day the witness headquarters will be in some third world country. As the membership and money from the western nations stops they will have to shift gears and go find a place of "technological darkness" like the cockroaches they are. The easy access to ex-witnesses who can contradict their lies
will chase them to some place of technological darkness, like the cockroaches they are. I just wish I had a shoe big enough to get Bethel under.
