When I was in High School our Chemistry teacher, Mr. Keller, had a hobby of exposing religious and legal follies. The Universal Life Church in California issues Divinity Certificates that are legally recognized by the State. My teacher signed up his dog. Cocoa Keller, a poodle, is an ordained minister legally licensed to perform marriages. That was 31 years ago. The dog died.
