At the service meeting last thursday, it was emphasized that many brothers and sisters have had to be disfellowshipped for "apostate" reasoning. Say, for example, you have a problem with birthdays. You tell your best friend - a loyal JW. He tells somebody else that "I love ____, but he said this to me...". This gets back to the elder body in time, and before you know it, a judicial committee is being formed. To just let somthing sit would be wrong - isn't that what the society tells us to tell catholics, lutherans and all religions in the field ministry? Perhaps you should read 1984, my FRIEND.
