Based on his posts, he made it look like he is still banned on H2O (or martyred) when in fact he was unbanned after a week. It's difficult to believe Tom Talley would consort with Prominent Bethelite to destroy this site. Incidentally whoever did attack it actually wiped out the server contents requiring a full recovery (at least based on the logon message).
Attacking an entire server with innocent people including help group forums for battered women just to fulfill a petty vendetta has just vindicated the Watchtower's claim that many (although not all) who leave are spineless immoral cowards.
That someone would in effect kill a battered woman who might have committed suicide this weekend for not having access to her forum and support network to bring down H2O by wiping out its ISP, is in fact a despicable act of cowardice. All those caricatures of the frothing at the mouth apostate who ends up a worse person by leaving, were just made real in many people's minds because of this so-called "Prominent Bethelite" (or whomever was behind the act of terrorism against those organizations using Cyberpass as its ISP).
I researched this recently. In the United States attacking a server is a felony that could result in 25 years to life in prison with the possibility of parole in no less than 20 years. It's considered on par with other acts of terrorism. Thankfully most nations are working together with their brightest and smartest "punks" to extradite and put on trial these criminals.
For what it's worth, the reason I choose to remain anonymous is because I had a gut feeling all along there is an anti-Watchtower fanatic who has obviously crossed the threshold. Their mentality is to harm innocent people who depended on the web services of our ISP, to get revenge against a site that failed to exclusively serve their personal anti-WT rhetoric agenda. I cannot emphasize that these graduated attacks convinces me anyone who expresses any kindness toward JWs is hated by this individual and could become a target.
I recommend that everyone maintain their anonymity on the Internet unless you positively hate JWs the way the KKK hates Jewish people. I even recommend that if you're a Catholic or from another denomination and you love JWs and wish to express this, that you positively maintain anonymity for the safety of yourself and family. I may be jumping the gun, and I hope so, but why would someone so severely sociopathic they would take down an ISP serving all sorts of help organizations and people who depend on them (such as battered women, alcoholics, severely depressed, etc.) -- what makes everyone so sure this sociopath will stop at attacking ISP's? They could easily graduate to greater crimes, considering they are likely wanted already by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies in various countries.
I suggest everyone reading this spread the word to please exercise extreme caution in your participation in forums anonymously.
